Emily Fan – Shopify

Emily is a product manager, developer, and civic action enthusiast, currently working at Shopify on internal tools that help the company scale. She started her career in the public service, building tooling to support the City of Toronto’s multi-billion dollar budget process. She is also an avid community organizer, and co-founded Rails Girls TO and Civic Tech Toronto. In her spare time, she enjoys playing volleyball and chasing after her toddler at home.
